English Courses for the Agricultural Industry
Course Overview
As the word goes global, the agriculture business has evolved across frontiers and oceans. Food, both raw and processed, is regularly transported across continents. As space is no longer a limit for food trade and human nutrition, language must not represent a barrier to this continuous exchange. Over the last 60 years, English has established itself as the primary language for world trade, including the exchange of agricultural goods.
This course is designed for both pre-career students and professionals who wish to enhance their communication skills for work purposes. It aids participants in achieving their professional and personal objectives by immersing them in the four key language components while incorporating career-specific vocabulary and contexts relating to agribusiness and agriculture. Moreover, a practical work experience or an internship component can be included as an optional add-on.
Main Course Aims
- To provide students with a solid foundation in essential English communication skills.
- To equip participants with the necessary language and study skills to ensure success in their current or future roles in agribusiness or agriculture.
