Program Overview

The Advanced Project Management & Technology Diploma prepares students to become effective project managers capable of leading complex projects in a technology-driven world. This comprehensive 12-month program emphasizes practical leadership, project management, and technological skills essential for delivering successful projects across various industries.

Graduates will emerge ready to manage projects from inception to completion while enhancing organizational efficiency, mitigating risk, and achieving strategic objectives.

Program Highlights

• Duration: 12 months, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with two breaks of one week during the program and two weeks off for winter break.
• Hybrid learning model: Blends in-class sessions, live online instruction, and scheduled online coursework.
• Internship with an industry partner to provide hands-on experience.
• Curriculum aligned with Project Management Professional (PMP)ｮ and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)ｮ knowledge requirements.

Admission Requirements

• Candidates must be a high school graduate or possess a recognized equivalent, such as the Mature Status Diploma.
  • High School Transcript or recognized equivalent (GED or Mature Grade 12 Diploma) is mandatory.

OR

• Candidates aged 18 or older must have completed at least 90 hours of coursework at a recognized post-secondary institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • An official transcript must be provided for all previous post-secondary studies.

Work Experience

• Applicants with a degree must have a minimum of one year of work experience (part-time accepted).
• Applicants without a degree must have at least three years of work experience.

English Language Requirements

Applicants whose prior education was completed outside of Canada, and where English may not have been the medium of instruction, must submit proof of English language proficiency through accepted measures.

Accreditation

The Management Certificate is accredited by Chartered Managers Canada (CIM), allowing graduates to apply for the Certified in Management designation (CIM).
