About Program

Program Overview

Our program strives to develop the complete musician, one who is not solely interested in his or her primary instrument, but one who engages the world around them with and through their music. International Undergraduate and Graduate students are eligible for scholarships and funding. Please visit https://geo.unm.edu/admission/ for more info.

Student services

The Global Education Office (GEO) provides services to international students and scholars coming to UNM, coordinates opportunities for UNM students to study overseas and offers intensive English language programs to students interested in studying in the U.S.

As an advocate for international programs on campus, GEO helps to prepare UNM faculty, administrators, and students to understand and work effectively in a complex and rapidly changing global community.

Living on campus is about more than having a place to rest your head; it's about the experience! From our Living Learning Program to events and activities, you'll find a variety of experience outside the classroom.

The IT Organization is overseen by the Office of the CIO and consists of five main areas: Applications, Classroom Technologies, Computing Platforms, Customer Service, and Networks.

Medical services

Student Health & Counseling (SHAC) provides quality health and counseling services to all UNM students to foster student success. Fees charged at SHAC are much lower than community rates. SHAC is funded in part by student activity fees.
