The Undergraduate Foundation Year is equivalent to the first year of a four-year undergraduate degree at Aberdeen. International students will spend the first year of their degree at the International Study Centre, developing the academic, study and language skills needed to succeed as a student at a UK university. After achieving the required grades, they will transition to the final three years of their degree at the University

Program Outline

Once you complete your pathway programme and achieve the required grades, you can start the second year of your undergraduate degree at the University. Across three terms, you’ll develop the subject-specific knowledge and English language skills you need for success at the University
