The University of Sydney Foundation Program (USFP) offers the strong academic foundation students need to successfully progress into the University of Sydney; one of Australia’s largest and most prestigious universities. The combined educational expertise of both the University of Sydney and Taylors College has been employed to create this foundation program – providing you with the perfect academic stepping stone into university-level studies. USFP students who graduate with the necessary grades are guaranteed a place in the undergraduate course of their choice at the University of Sydney. The USFP program has multiple start dates through the year to help students to meet their study goals.
Program Outline
USFP Standard Program is taught over two semesters, with two, 10-week terms each semester. You will study 10 subjects in total, five subjects in each semester made up of Academic English Skills and four academic subjects in each semester. You study the same subject for the full semester. USFP Extended Program is taught over three semesters, with two, 10-week terms each semester. You will study 12 subjects in total, four subjects in each semester. The same subject is studied for the full semester. USFP Intensive Program is taught over 1.5 semesters, with three, 10-week terms each semester. You will study 10 subjects in total over the 1.5 semesters. In your first term, you study Academic English Skills and three academic subjects.
