Program Overview
UCA Epsom's BA (Hons) Fashion Design program empowers students to transform their fashion ideas into reality. Through a comprehensive curriculum, industry connections, and opportunities for work placements and showcases, this program prepares students for successful careers in the fashion industry. Students develop a wide range of skills, from concept development to branding, and create a final collection in their final year.
Program Outline
This diverse program welcomes students of all skill levels and provides them with the space and skilled team to reach their full potential. Students learn a wide range of skills, from research and concept development to implementation, showcase, and branding. In the final year, they create a final collection, offering options for 3D or digital outputs, or a mix of both. The program also features opportunities to:

Assessment:
- Continuous assessment through a variety of methods, including essays, presentations, portfolios, and practical projects.
- Final year major project assessed through a portfolio, presentation, and viva voce examination.

- A combination of lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials.
- Access to industry-standard facilities, including design studios, pattern cutting rooms, and photographic studios.
