  • Challenging and reflecting on your practice through critical reading, observation, analysis, and deep reflection on products, craft artifacts, contextual research, and your field of inquiry.
  • Exploratory Practice:
  • Nurturing your practice into a form of inquiry, a questioning, analytical, and interrogative approach to your work, enabling you to become a reflective practitioner. This unit begins to address the research questions explored in the Exploratory practice unit.

Term Two

  • Develop your MA project, evaluating and testing the aims of your proposal through sustained self-directed study.
  • Reflective Practice:
  • Fosters critical awareness and independent development of your practice. The work should demonstrate a response to the research questions explored in the Exploratory Practice unit and establish a clear line of inquiry through selected materials, concepts, and a well-articulated context. May include a professional practice period.

Term Three

  • Apply your research to create a final body of work, demonstrating the culmination of your studies and a comprehensive exposition of the central ideas and concepts developed throughout the course.
