Program Overview


On this course, you will spend half of your time studying Human Geography and half studying English Literature.In Human Geography you will have the opportunity to study sustainability, urbanisation, rural change, cultural and historical geography, and political studies, guided by world-leading academics, with field courses, seminars and workshops supporting your studies, giving you practical experience and the opportunity to develop your specialist and transferable skills.In English Literature you will develop your critical and interpretive skills as you respond to language, form, genre, and cultural and historical contexts; from the medieval period to the present day. As you acquire both broad and specialist literary knowledge, you will also develop advanced skills in reading, analysis, writing, and presentation. In choosing this three year Bachelor of Arts joint honours degree in Human Geography and English Literature at Aberystwyth, you will join a vibrant and cosmopolitan learning environment.
