Program Overview
About this course
The BSc (Hons) Environmental Psychology is designed to enable students to study the application of core areas of Psychology to the study of human behaviour in a range of environmental settings. In addition to core psychological content which is aligned to the requirements of the British Psychological Society, students will apply their knowledge to areas of human environmental interaction and behaviour. A core strand of research methods throughout the first two years of the programme will enable students to scaffold their learning and expertise in research design to enable them to design and manage under supervision a piece of original environmental psychology research for their dissertation project.
A second strand which runs throughout the programme relates to skills development and employability with students supported to locate environmentally relevant placements during their second year of study.
