Psychology and Sport with Foundation Year

Overview

This course combines the study of psychology and sport, allowing students to explore the scientific nature of psychology and its wider cultural and social impact, while also gaining an understanding of the complexities of sport and physical education.

Course Summary

Through studying psychology at BGU, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the scientific nature of the subject and its wider cultural and social impact. This course will develop students' understanding of psychology and its theories of the mind, emotions, and behavior, and become familiar with how these theories are applied in real-life contexts.


In the study of sport at BGU, students will gain an understanding of the complexities of this subject, including the development of sport, how performance can be enhanced, and how it can be managed and led. This course is designed to develop students' knowledge and understanding of sport, physical education, learning, and teaching, and education.
