MSc Renewable Energy Engineering

Overview

The MSc Renewable Energy Engineering program is the only graduate degree in Greece focused on Renewable Energy Systems (RES) and Hydrogen Technologies. This program is developed in response to the increasing demand for professionals skilled in the renewable energy sector, emphasizing the needs of the Greek market.


Course Details

  • Curriculum Focus:
    • Design and implementation of renewable energy systems.
    • Advanced studies on photovoltaic systems, wind power stations, biomass utilization, and geothermal energy.
    • Integration of RES within broader energy generation systems and exploration of smart electricity grids and energy storage technologies.

Admission Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree in any Engineering discipline or related field with a strong technical foundation is preferred.
  • For candidates lacking formal qualifications, proven technical experience may suffice.
  • English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or a College English Language Test is required.
  • Application materials include a CV and letters of recommendation, followed by an academic interview with the Programme Leader.
