Entry Requirements:
EU Home Students:
- Graduates of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in any field with minimum grade average in their undergraduate or postgraduate program of 80/100 (EU or UK scale, or equivalent in other systems, e.g. GPA 3.0/4.0 US).
- Graduates who have obtained a minimum of 3-year professional work experience (with evidence).
- Applicants with an undergraduate degree in an unrelated area who wish to be enrolled may need to successfully take a number of bridging modules (up to 30 additional ECTS credits), depending on the discretion of the faculty.
International (non-EU) students:
- Graduates of HEIs with at least three years of study and a Bachelor or Master degree in the following disciplines:
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
- Business
- A minimum grade average is required, determined in accordance with the University of Derby regulations for qualifications from outside the UK: typically grade average of 75/100 (EU or UK scale) or GPA (GPA scale) 3/4.
- In certain situations, students whose Bachelor degree is in an unrelated subject may be considered for entry to the course. This is normally dependent on the successful completion of a number of bridging modules (which may total to a maximum of 30 credits).
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- A good knowledge of the English language is essential to undertake a degree at Mediterranean College. The minimum English entry requirement to be accepted for admission is an International Standard Test of English (TOEFL), International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or Cambridge English Language Assessment Test result:
- IELTS: Minimum score 6.5 overall (no sub-test below 5.5)
- TOEFL: Minimum score 80 overall (and no subtest lower than 20)
