MSc UK Full-time fee: £11130 International & EU Full-time fee: £28260 Deposits International and EU applicants are required to pay a deposit of £2000 within four weeks of an offer being made.
Entry Requirements:
In exceptional cases, other science or bioscience graduates might be eligible upon demonstrating appropriate relevant postgraduate professional experience.
English language requirements:
For applicants whose first language is not English:
- IELTS Academic (not General Training): 6.5 overall with no subtest under 6.0
- TOEFL iBT, MyBest, or atHome: 79 overall with Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, and Writing 21
- Pearsons PTE Academic: 59 with a minimum of 59 in each subtest
- CAE/CPE: 176 overall, no subtest less than 169.
- Oxford English Test: Oxford ELLT Level 7 with Reading and Listening: OIDI Level 6 with minimum scores of 21-24 in Reading and 15-17 in Listening; Writing and Speaking: OIDI Level 6
- Trinity College Tests: Integrated Skills in English II, III, & IV: ISE II Distinction with Distinction in all subtests.
- Pre-sessional courses: Passes at required levels.
Alternatively, applicants can demonstrate English proficiency through:
- Having a degree from a majority-English-speaking country, as defined by the UKVI (including Canada if the degree was taught in English). The student must have studied for a minimum of two years at the undergraduate level or nine months at the master's level and must have completed their degree within the last six years.
- Completing a 2+2 undergraduate degree from a majority-English-speaking country, as defined by the UKVI (including Canada if the final two years were taught in English).
