The MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology/Behaviour at DCU Business School is the longest running specialised programme delivering organisational psychology education in Ireland.   • The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) is the world’s largest Chartered HR and development professional body. Graduates who successfully complete this programme are eligible for Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD).
  • Established in 1970, the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) is the learned and professional body for psychology and psychologists in the Republic of Ireland. PSI-accredited since 2009, the MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology/Behaviour are the longest running specialised programmes delivering organisational psychology education in Ireland.

  • Be capable of analysing organisational staffing needs and prescribing job analysis, recruitment and selection techniques for that organisation;
  • Develop distinctive psychological skills for the diagnosis of specific aspects of organisational behaviour and functioning such as training, decision-making, restructuring, problem-solving and job design;
  • Develop the ability to aid organisations to embrace team working, multicultural workplace integration and innovative management techniques.

  • For admission to the MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology (DC508) candidates must hold:
    • A 2.1 Level 8 Honours degree in Psychology and relevant work experience
  • For admission to the MSc in Work and Organisational Behaviour (DC957) candidates must hold:
    • A 2.1 Level 8 Honours degree in any discipline and relevant work experience
  • This programme is fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and completion leads to graduate membership of C.I.P.D.
  • DC508 is also fully accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland. For PSI membership (including graduate membership), please consult the PSI webpage as individual DWOP/PSI membership award decisions are made by the PSI.

  • Provide Academic Transcripts for each and every year of study with English translation, if applicable.

  • Provide a 500-750 word (max) personal statement.
  • Please upload a CV , detailing relevant academic and professional experience.
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) applicants are required to submit a cover letter along with their application under the Transcripts section of the portal, affirming their intent to apply for RPL.
  • If applicable, provide evidence of competence in the English language as per DCU entry requirements.
