Overview

The Professional Master of Education (Primary Teaching) is a two-year full-time course designed to empower, motivate, and engage children. Students will discover how to help children develop critical skills, including understanding, analyzing, and applying what they learn. The course is designed to challenge traditional teaching approaches and provide students with hands-on experience in a vibrant learning environment.

Entry Requirements

  • General Entry Requirements: Candidates must have an honors degree with an overall result of H2.2 or higher.
  • Specific Requirements: Candidates must have fulfilled the minimum requirements for the following subjects:
    • Gaeilge: Leaving Certificate transcript (or equivalent)
    • English: Leaving Certificate transcript (or equivalent)
    • Mathematics: Leaving Certificate transcript (or equivalent)
  • Irish Language Oral Proficiency: Candidates must have achieved a minimum of 65% on the Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge (TEG) B1 Oral Irish examination.

Programme Structure
