Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following requirements:
- GCSE: grade B/5 in Maths, higher tier
- A-levels: Including a minimum grade B in Maths and a minimum grade C in Physics
- BTEC National Extended Diploma in Engineering: DDM-DDD
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: Including H5 in Maths and Physics
- Welsh Baccalaureate is accepted
- Access: considered on a case-by-case basis
- T-levels: considered on a case-by-case basis
- EPQ: Points can include a relevant Extended Project (EPQ) but must include a minimum 2 full A-levels
Fees and Funding
Tuition fees for the program are:
- UK and Ireland: Ł9,790 (full-time), Ł1,958 (placement year)

- They can choose to add a placement year to gain additional, relevant experience.
- The program allows students to keep their options open while equipping them with all the analytical, design, programming and computing skills required for an exciting engineering career.
- The first year provides a broad curriculum, and the final two years allow students to focus on areas aligned with the School's research interests.
- Goes well beyond traditional engineering courses by linking modules in low carbon energy, computer science, and electronic engineering.
- The program combines knowledge across these subject areas to enable students to create innovative solutions for careers in mechatronics, robotics, data science, low carbon energy, automotive engineering, as well as traditional roles in materials science and mechanical engineering.

- The first two years provide a broad curriculum, with more specialized options in Years 3 and 4 leading to a professional discipline.

- Promotes meta cognitive learning, empowering students to draw on their deep knowledge of each discipline to provide creative solutions in a broad range of engineering careers.
