Program Overview

The PhD/MPhil by Practice in Translation Studies at Bangor University is a 3-year full-time or 6-year part-time program designed to train students in professional translation skills. The curriculum covers translation theory, technologies, and specialized areas such as literary, technical, and medical translation. Graduates are prepared for careers as translators, interpreters, editors, and language teachers in various sectors.
