About Program
Program Overview
Our Logic B - The Languages of Logic short course introduces further fundamental logical ideas that philosophers need in their toolboxes in order to reason well. It includes an introduction to a second logical language, the Predicate Calculus, which allows us to assess arguments too subtle for the Sentence Calculus to handle.
You must complete
Logic A - the Philosopher's Toolbox
before enrolling on this course. This course is assessed by a take-home exercise (50%) and an unseen end-of-term examination (50%).
This can be taken as a standalone short course or as a part of:

15 credits at level 4
