Program Overview
This introductory course employs a mixture of academic learning and experiential class-based exercises to introduce you to the basic ideas and principles of psychodynamic practice.
Psychodynamic Counselling: an Introduction to Key Listening Skills is designed for anyone who would like to try a ‘taster’ course, perhaps before committing to the two-year, pre-clinical training
Psychodynamic Counselling Certificate of Higher Education
. In the class you will be introduced to the key psychodynamic skill of listening to conscious and unconscious communication.The course can be taken in its own right or alongside any of our other short courses in counselling. There is no formal assessment.
This course is non-credit bearing, so carries no credit points.
