Our Reading and Library Resources for Psychology Students short course is aimed at students who have decided to study one of our psychology courses but feel uncertain about their study skills. Focusing on planning, preparation, effective reading and note-taking, it will help you to start your course with greater confidence. You will learn:

essential skills for source reading material

the skills of a good reader

how to navigate library catalogues and databases

the importance of keeping notes and how to avoid plagiarism.

This can be taken as a standalone short course or as a part of:

Applied Psychology (Certificate of Higher Education)

Psychology (Certificate of Higher Education)

This course is non-credit bearing, so carries no credit points.
