Program Overview

The MRes Arts program at Arts University Bournemouth equips makers, designers, and thinkers with advanced research skills in the arts, design, and creative industries. Through independent study, lectures, and workshops, students develop critical thinking, research methods, and practical making abilities, culminating in an Independent Research Project that integrates theory, practice, and contextualization. The program prepares graduates for doctoral study or research-led careers in the creative and cultural sectors.
