Program Overview

Overview

You'll explore and pioneer approaches to global challenges in relation to:

  • yourself and your role
  • your organisation
  • wider society
  • The EMBA is a part-time, flexible, work-based programme. It's delivered using a blended learning model. You'll have monthly two day study blocks on campus during teaching time. In addition to study block attendance, you'll engage with the blended, structured, online learning resources.

This will allow you to study flexibly around your work and personal commitments.

The group intake will be small and diverse. You'll enjoy:

  • individualised personal development
  • group action learning
  • the opportunity to develop relationships with a trusted peer group. Your peers will become a powerful support network beyond the completion of the EMBA
  • The curriculum is dynamic and relevant. It combines:

  • world-leading research
  • learning from thought leaders
  • practice and real-time projects
  • Sustainable business sits at the heart of the EMBA curriculum. We'll provide you with a unique, in-depth experience to explore and deliver material actions aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The programme focuses on the development of responsible leadership and leaderful practice.

The EMBA is practice-based and experiential. It's designed to enable you to learn by applying theory into practice, working on real challenges in your own organisation and learning from the experiences of your peers. You'll reflect deeply on your own professional practice, with space to make sense of your experiences and learn experientially, integrating your own professional context.

The EMBA is available as a progression route when studying the Level 7 Senior Leader Apprenticeship leading to a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies.
