Our expert team will support you to develop your knowledge and understanding of a range of acute and chronic conditions, exploring presentations and clinical management across all age groups.
We’ll provide an overview of common conditions and clinical activities for ACPs in primary care that will reflect the Core Capabilities Framework for ACPs in Primary Care (HEE, 2020). Our experienced and knowledgeable team will concentrate on emergency presentations of minor injuries and the clinical management of chronic conditions, such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension and cancer. We’ll also help you build your ability to recognise and manage red flag symptoms in relation to cancer diagnosis, disease progression, acute oncology and oncological emergencies.
To support your development as a practitioner in primary care, we’ll guide you as you expand your knowledge and understanding of diagnostic investigations, history taking and clinical assessments for a range of acute and chronic conditions. We’ll also support you to develop your communication and consultation skills, including alternative consultation styles and the use of relevant digital technology.
