Taught by the University of Bolton in collaboration with expert clinical practitioners from practice, this course will support you to develop your knowledge and understanding of a range of acute and chronic respiratory conditions, exploring presentations and clinical management.

An understanding of normal physiology, pharmacology and pathophysiology underpin respiratory medicine so we’ll help you to build your knowledge of these concepts. We’ll also support you as you explore the role of a range of diagnostic tests (including pulmonary function tests, chest x-rays, computed tomography (CT) imaging and arterial blood gas sampling) and help you learn to interpret the results of such investigations.
