Graduates from the Civil Engineering MEng program will be capable of addressing the needs of society and business, deploying appropriate engineering methods and technologies, and working effectively in multidisciplinary teams. The program is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), meeting the educational base required for an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and partially meeting the requirements for a Chartered Engineer (CEng).


Entry Requirements

UK Entry Requirements

  • A minimum of five GCSEs, including Mathematics grade C or 4 and English Language grade C or 4.
  • A-level: Standard offer ABB, including Mathematics and one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Environment Studies, Computer Science, Electronics, or Design and Technology.
  • BTEC National Extended Diploma: Standard offer DDD in Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering.
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma: 31 points, including 5 in Higher Level Mathematics and 5 in one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography, or Design Technology.
