Program Overview

Introduction

This program is designed to prepare the prospective health apprentice to undertake the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship.  It will offer learning in academic readiness, wellbeing and interview preparation.  It will introduce the learner to the nursing associate apprenticeship at the University and the professional expectations of undertaking an apprenticeship that leads to a professional registration.

It will also provide the opportunity for the learner to properly evaluate their academic readiness and for some to undertake level 2 Maths and English qualifications.  For others specific learning needs may be identified for which the learner will be signposted to other support services.
