Course overview

Teaching is a blend of face-to-face and online learning. Input sessions are delivered online using the Cambridge Assessment English Moodle. You should dedicate around 10 hours study time per week to these sessions, with an additional 5 hours to prepare for lessons and complete written assignments. Teaching practice and feedback takes place face-to-face at the University on Wednesdays from 12.30pm to 5.00pm. You are required to attend all sessions.

CELTA is validated by Cambridge Assessment English and is a highly respected and recognised qualification across the world. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland it is accredited by Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation at Level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework.
