Course Overview
You identify a systematic approach to managing security risks, look at how computers are compromised, what the concept of risk is, and the security triad of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. You learn through weekly pre-recorded content and tasks that can be worked through at your own pace. You also take part in live sessions throughout the course.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum hardware requirements: You utilise a virtual computer hosted at Teesside University. You require a typical Windows PC with a 1.6 GHz or faster processor and 4 GB RAM, and a stable broadband connection.
- International applicants: must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
- Age restriction: Due to the content and delivery of our Summer University courses, it is advised that applicants are aged 16+ at the time of enrolment. If you are applying for an online course and are under the age of 18 at the time of enrolment, you must provide a completed parental consent form.
