What you study

You are introduced to key concepts in epidemiology including methods of summarising data, measures of disease burden and concepts and measures of risk. Emphasis is placed on the interpretation of epidemiological data and its use in public health practice and policy development.


How you learn

Those accessing face-to-face sessions experience a range of teaching methods including key not lectures and individual and group based exercises. For those accessing the module as distance learners you experience an equivalent range of teaching methods including recorded lectures, individual exercises and activities and activities that require online discussion with peers.


How you are assessed
