Introduction to Criminology

This course focuses on two main areas of criminology – criminological theory and criminal justice. Students explore why people commit crime and examine the different groups involved in crime, followed by an overview of the criminal justice system in England and Wales.

Your assessment is a 2,000 word written assignment, submitted at the end of the course.

• International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
• Age restriction: Due to the content and delivery of our Summer University courses, it is advised that applicants are aged 16+ at the time of enrolment. If you are applying for an online course and are under the age of 18 at the time of enrolment, you must provide a completed parental consent form.
