Overview:

The Nursing Studies (Mental Health) (Pre-Registration) Apprenticeship BSc (Hons) course at Teesside University is designed to educate and equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a registered mental health nurse. This program aims to develop confident, articulate, and future-ready nurses who are socially engaged, research-active, globally connected, and digitally empowered. Upon successful completion, graduates will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Program Description:

This apprenticeship program combines academic study with hands-on practical experience in the field of mental health nursing. The program is delivered through a blended learning approach, with a combination of lectures, seminars, skills workshops, and supervised practice placements.
