This innovative and flexible online top-up degree helps you develop the skills and knowledge valued by employers and give your CV a boost, enabling you to build on your previous qualifications (such as professional body qualifications or a HND/FdA or equivalent) to gain a full bachelor’s degree – 100% online.

Core Modules
- Business Growth
- This module introduces the importance of business growth, including the planning, resourcing and implementation approaches that co-exist to enable a successful growth strategy. You learn through interaction and engagement with peers, case studies and reflection.

- Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise
- This module investigates the entrepreneurial function, appraising the entrepreneurial journey from beginning to completion. You develop skills in entrepreneurial thinking and innovative problem-solving approaches whilst considering risk, uncertainty and new product development.

- Productivity through People
- This module considers the effect of human resource management on the productivity and efficiency of employees. You develop knowledge in the recruitment and retention of employees, the impact of communication and how to best manage complex supply chains.

- Professional Project
- Through negotiation between the University, workplace and learner, you design and carry out an inquiry-led activity (project) demonstrating research and development approaches to your own professional development and the development of your organisation. You manage a work-based project to initiate and lead change. The content and context of your project is unique to you or your group.

How You Learn
You are guided by module tutors with extensive experience delivering high-quality online teaching. While you interact with content such as video lectures, reading and online tasks independently, you also collaborate, network and participate in group learning activities online, such as discussions and debates on concepts, theories and practical applications.
How You Are Assessed
You experience a range of assessments. These help both you and your module leaders gauge how you are progressing with the modules on your course. The assessments may be formative (to allow you to test your understanding and get feedback to support your further development and understanding of the subject matter) or summative (where the assessment will count towards the final mark for the module).
Entry Requirements
- BA (Hons) Business and Enterprise students must be in employment, and in possession of the following minimum qualifications:
- Foundation degree, higher national diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- Professionally qualified students will be considered on a non-standard basis and their experience, qualifications, and training will be considered alongside the entry-level requirements. These students will also be interviewed to check eligibility.
- International students should also consider criteria for admission and direct entry.
