Entry Requirements


UK Applicants:

  • 96-112 points including maths, from any combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications.

  • T-Level (Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing, Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction (specialism Civil Engineering), Maintenance, Installation and Repair for Engineering and Manufacturing from City & Guilds)
  • International Baccalaureate
  • For T-levels, you must achieve a minimum of a Merit grade in the relevant specialism.
  • You can use the UCAS tariff calculator to determine the points value of your qualifications.
  • Alternative routes: You may be eligible for entry if you have studied a HNC or HND, or have gained relevant credits at Level 4 in a related subject.
  • Mature students: Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be awarded for relevant knowledge and skills gained outside of formal qualifications.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

  • Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English by achieving the required score in one of the following tests:

  • TOEFL: 80 overall with no less than 17 in listening and reading, 18 in writing, and 20 in speaking
  • PTE Academic: 54 overall with no less than 51 in any component
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) grade C or above
