Overview
The University of Kent offers a top-up degree course in Animal Biology and Wildlife Conservation for students who have completed the HND Applied Animal Science or equivalent award.
The Course

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for this course, students must meet the following requirements:
- UK students: Merit grade at HND in Applied Animal Science or other relevant discipline, or a Foundation Degree with a value of 240 credits.
- International students: Cannot be admitted to this programme due to visa restrictions.
- English Language Requirements: Good level of English language, equivalent to B2 on CEFR, with examples including IELTS 6.0, GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English Language, or IB Standard Level Grade 5 or above in English A: Language and Literature.
Fees and Funding
The 2024/25 fees for this course are £6,000 per annum full-time for UK students. Additional costs may include trips and IT equipment. Students should check with Canterbury College for potential funding opportunities.
Teaching and Assessment
Assessment is by coursework projects, essays, presentations, and examinations. Delivery is through lectures, seminars, and tutorials, normally over three days a week.
