Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the BSc (Hons) Forensic Science program, students must meet certain entry requirements. These include:


  • A level: BBB in 3 subjects including Chemistry or Biology at B.
  • BTEC Nationals: The University will consider applicants holding/studying BTEC Extended National Diploma Qualifications (QCF; NQF;OCR) in Applied Science or Forensic and Criminal Investigation (must include Unit 15 Practical Chemical Analysis) at DDM.
  • International Baccalaureate: 120 tariff points - typically H5, H6, H6 including HL Chemistry or Biology 5.
  • GCSE: Mathematics grade 4/C.
