Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the Social Work BA (Hons) course, applicants must meet the following requirements:


  • UK: 104-120 UCAS points, with a typical offer of BBB at A level or DDM at BTEC.
  • International: 120 tariff points, with a typical offer of H5, H6, H6 or equivalent at International Baccalaureate.
  • GCSE: English at grade 4 or above (or equivalent) is essential for all candidates.
  • Additional requirements: Successful applicants to this program are required to complete and pay for an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (which the University will facilitate), and the update service as required/recommended.
