Program Overview
The Supporting Learning for Practice module aims to encourage you to engage with the facilitation of learning in practice. The module will equip you to become a practice assessor under the new NMC guidelines.
During the course you will explore the theories, principles and concepts related to learning, teaching and assessment to facilitate learning in practice.

This module runs over 12 weeks. The content will be provided online on

. In addition, you will be expected to attend three synchronous teaching mornings. We also provide drop-in online support sessions.Staff delivering on this course
The content will be delivered by experienced academics who hold registrations with the NMC.
Independent Study
You are expected to undertake approximately 12.5 hours per week of independent study.
Assessment
Assessment is a written assignment - 2500 words.
Academic Support
