Course Overview
The BA (Hons) User-Experience and User-Interface Design program is a three-year course that focuses on the design of future-facing digital platforms, products, and services. The course explores the fundamentals of user research, experience design, interaction design, visual design, and information architecture.

Year 1
This design-led introduction explores core competencies in graphic and information design and in design and coding for the web.

Year 2
Year 2 explores more advanced interactivity through play and experimentation in coding. Encouraging a personal approach, the course enables and supports the application of both individual and group design propositions to real-world and imagined scenarios.

Year 3
The culmination of three years of study is channeled into practical projects, which become increasingly professional in scope.
A range of self-directed projects along with a major project of the final body of work forms the third year of study. Final work is appropriate to applied contexts within the creative industries.

Entry Requirements
- Two A Levels at grade CC or above
- BTEC Extended Diploma at grade MPP
- UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma
- T Level (pass or above)
- Access to Higher Education Diploma
- International Baccalaureate at grade 24 or above
- Other/Mixed qualifications equivalent to 64 UCAS Tariff points
Selection Criteria
We will consider a wide range of applicants who show creativity and curiosity in the areas of design, technology, research, and more specifically digital experiences and interfaces. You do not need to have any coding or specific design software knowledge to be considered for the course.
Interview and Portfolio
Admission onto this course is also subject to successful completion of an interview and portfolio (or showreel).

- Working with materials and technology
