English classes per week: 5 hours (including 1 hour tutorial)
Subject module classes per week: 17-20 hours
Note: class hours per week are never less than 20.
Morning and afternoon classes are held Monday to Friday between 09.00 - 18.00 excluding bank holidays.

On the BSc (Hons) Finance course, you’ll build and develop your knowledge of all things money – from trading in currencies to the stock market and learning how to make lending decisions in banks.
A great starting point for your career in the financial industry, you’ll benefit from facilities including industry-standard Bloomberg terminals in the Trading Room so you can fully prepare for your career in this sector.
The programme also offers industry links, including the opportunity to complete a 9 to 12-month placement within a financial institution in your third year. Previous placements have included Goldman Sachs and the Bank of England.

Successful completion of the International Year One, subject to getting the required grades for your intended degree, gives you the opportunity to progress to the second year of an undergraduate degree at Queen's University Belfast.
To qualify, you will need to:

You will need to achieve the required grades in your English for Academic Purposes class.
