Program Overview
Prepare for direct entry to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia's (UEA) School of Biological Sciences.
50% of credit-bearing modules during the International Year One are taught by INTO and 50% by UEA professors together with first year university students. Combining expertise in the subject area and international student support, you'll be in the best position to thrive in your studies.
Depending on your progression degree, you'll be taught by world-leading academics from the School of Biological Sciences and Norwich Medical School, as well as hospital consultants and biomedical scientists from the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
The INTO UEA modules are taught by biologists experienced in supporting international students. You’ll learn in small classes where our teachers bring biology to life through their industry experience. Pathway leader and lecturer, Elizabeth Saggers, is an experienced microbiologist with over 20 years' experience. She has also worked in the food industry, the NHS and as a Senior Research Scientist at the Norwich Research Park.
