Program Overview


Prepare for entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree in a range of numerical subjects, including actuarial science, finance, economics, accounting and mathematics at the University of East Anglia (UEA).

Develop problem solving and programming skills and complete a research project where you can put your data analysis skills into practice.     Turn your interest in mathematics, economics and problem solving into a successful career as an actuary.

    This interdisciplinary degree is designed to develop your mathematical, financial, business, computing and statistical knowledge. Strong links with industry and tuition from practising actuaries from Aviva, the UK’s largest insurance company, will provide you with unrivalled insight into professional practice.

  • In our second year, we got the chance to have lectures at top insurance company, Aviva, headquarters as part of our Actuarial Sciences degree. We also had the option to do a year in industry as part of the degree. It was a good chance to learn more about the real life of an actuary as the University has a great relationship with Aviva.
