  • What do I need to progress?

    Minimum 2.5 cumulative SLU GPA (GPA may vary depending on major). Successful Completion of Writing Portfolio. Grade of B or better in all classes counting toward major. No C-/D/F/W/I/P/NP/S/U grades.

    This International Year One 2-Semester program lasts 12 months and is designed for students who have a moderate level of English.

    How do I qualify?

    English language requirements:

    TOEFL 75-79, IELTS 6.0, PTEA 50-53, TOEFL Essentials 8, Duolingo 100-105, ACT 19 (English portion), or SAT 510 (EBRW)

    Age requirements: 16 years and above
    Academic requirements:

    Secondary/high school degree or equivalent. 2.5 minimum GPA on a 4.0 scale. Minimum 12 university transfer credits.
