Course structure

A range of teaching and learning methods including lectures, seminars, and group work will be used to encourage you to develop intellectual and cognitive skills. You will learn via interactive sessions, research, and directed private study.

Case study-based learning is employed throughout the course and is intended to enable you to develop the ability to identify the issues in need of research, apply subject-specific knowledge to a realistic and/or practical context, make critical judgments, and present and make reasoned choices between alternative solutions.

The case studies may take the form of real cases or issues in debate at any given moment in time or may be hypothetical problems which are reflective of realistic problems.

Compared to an undergraduate course, you will find that this Masters course requires a higher level of independent reading and research.
