Practice Development via Study Centres BSc (Hons)
Overview
BSc (Hons) Practice Development covers the concepts of clinical governance, critical appraisal, reflective practice, and public health. There is a strong emphasis on relating theory to clinical practice. In addition, by choosing your own project in consultation with tutors, you can tailor learning to your particular career aspirations. All learning is underpinned by an evidence-based practice which promotes the development of high-quality health care provision.

Course structure
You‘ll be taught by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team of highly skilled professionals, who are actively involved in consultancy work and healthcare research. Each member of the team has at least one specialist area of clinical and teaching expertise.
You will be taught using a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars, group work presentations, and one-to-one tutorials.
You will be assessed using a range of assessment methods including written assignments, group presentations, and individual presentations and exams.

Entry requirements
Our typical offer is:
- Irish Leaving Certificate: 120 UCAS points – Students must have H1-H7 or O1-O4 in Maths & English.
- QQI/FETAC 5: Pass profile overall. For entry, we also require H1-H7 or O1-O4 in Maths and English from Irish Leaving Certificate.
