Entry Requirements
- Physiotherapy pre-reg honours degree requirements:
- Completed an honours degree in the last five years, achieving a 2:1 or 1st class award or be predicted to achieve this grade if nearing the completion of a relevant degree programme.
- Previous degree should be in biological sciences, sports science / therapy, or a healthcare course with significant anatomy and physiology components.
- GCSE English Language and Maths:
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or above, or an equivalent qualification.
- Physiotherapy pre-reg work experience:
- Demonstrate and discuss work experience in physiotherapy, ideally within the NHS or hospital setting, and demonstrate an understanding of the scope and breadth of the profession.
- Physiotherapy pre-reg interview:
- If you meet the entry criteria, you will be offered an interview with an academic member of staff either in person or online.
- English language requirements:
- If English is not your first language, you are required to provide a language test certificate as evidence of proficiency. This needs to be at Academic IELTS at 7.0 with no element below 6.5 in all sections of the test.
- DBS and health check required:
- In order to study this course, offer holders will need to complete a satisfactory DBS and Health Clearance check.
- Fitness to practice declaration:
- If you are offered a place on the programme, you will be required to complete a ‘Fitness to Practice’ health declaration, declaring your health status and immunisation records.
