Students applying for this course may be eligible for the NHS Learning Support Fund, which provides a non-repayable training grant of £5,000 per academic year.

You’ll learn to use a range of imaging techniques to assess injuries and illnesses. We’ll help you develop the skills and adaptability you need to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a range of settings. You’ll also learn about communication and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Study Style

You’ll study the core subjects of anatomy, physiology, pathology, physics, and clinical imaging to enable you to apply them to clinical situations. You’ll be able to put theory into practice in our new radiography suite, which simulates real clinical settings.

We use a blended learning approach with time divided between university teaching and clinical practice. Around 50% of the course is spent in clinical placement settings under the supervision of experienced diagnostic radiography mentors who support you.
