Fashion Marketing MA
The Fashion Marketing MA course is designed to equip students with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills to innovate and lead in the fast-paced, digital-first fashion industry. The curriculum blends creativity with strategic thinking, focusing on positioning fashion brands in global markets, digital marketing and social media strategies, consumer behaviour and cultural insights, retail analytics and data-driven decision-making, and sustainable and ethical marketing practices.

Module Information
The course consists of four core modules and two optional modules. The core modules include:
- Fashion Marketing: This module combines theory with real-world application, exploring core marketing principles and industry insights through case studies, live projects, and guest speakers.
- The Fashion Industry: This module introduces trend research and examines how global trends shape the future of fashion.
- Culture and Collaboration: This module develops an advanced level of understanding of the wider cultural context for current and future work, collaborating with Masters students across the school of art and design on a negotiated theme.
- Personal Project: This module allows students to shape their future, choosing from three exciting pathways: a traditional dissertation, a strategic business or marketing plan, or a creative output.
Optional modules include:
- Industry Practice: Immerses students in an industry-inspired project, collaborating with global partners and industry clients to design innovative solutions.
- Creative Enterprise in Fashion: Designed for aspiring fashion entrepreneurs, exploring start-up culture, innovation, and market positioning.
- Studio Practice: Encourages experimentation with immersive technologies and creative tools to produce professional-standard outputs.
- Professional Practice: Explores emerging roles, future work environments, and leadership in the rapidly evolving fashion industry.
- Advancing Research Design: Maximising Your Methods: Provides an explorative platform for students to extend their knowledge of research methods and methodologies.
Entry Requirements
- UK students: 2.2 honours degree, with a personal statement illustrating knowledge and perspective on an aspect of the fashion industry.
- International students: 2.2 honours degree, with equivalent qualifications from around the world, and English language requirements.
