Program Overview

This Secondary English (QTS) PGCE Postgraduate programme is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary to teach English at a secondary level. Through a combination of university-based modules and classroom placements, it prepares trainees for the responsibilities of a secondary school teacher, leading to a recommendation for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Additionally, it allows flexibility in choosing credit-bearing modules to tailor the focus of study to individual needs and development areas.
