Academic Qualifications:

  • A second-class honours degree or better in the subject area of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, from a UK or Republic of Ireland university, a recognized national awarding body, or an institution of another country with an equivalent standard.
  • An equivalent standard (normally 50%) in a Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Postgraduate Certificate, or Postgraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • In exceptional circumstances, an individual with significant experiential learning may be considered for admission based on a portfolio of written evidence demonstrating the meeting of graduate qualities (including subject-specific outcomes).
  • The evidence must be determined by the Course Committee.

Language Proficiency:

  • Applicants must provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English.
