The BSc Hons Product Design & Innovation program at the University of Strathclyde is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the product design industry. Industrial Experience

During the fourth year of the course, students will undertake an industrial group project. This will help students develop and apply their skills as a product designer in the real world. The Industrial Group Project will give students the opportunity to work as part of a team, developing their people, project management, and leadership skills.

The Department of Design, Manufacturing & Engineering Management has a range of innovative purpose-built design and manufacture laboratories. Students have access to a range of workshops and facilities, including a digital design and manufacture studio.

  • Highers: AAAB (Maths or Physics or Engineering Science)
  • A Levels: ABB-BBB
  • International Baccalaureate: 34-32 (Maths HL5 or Physics HL5)
  • HNC/HND: relevant HNC, A in Graded Unit; relevant HND, AA in Graded Units
  • English language requirements: If English is not the first language, students must meet the English language requirements.
